This process is taken drawn from Design Thinking and as such even though it is presented linearly it is meant to be iterative and adjustable.
Understanding your users/customers is critical to creating a sustainable strategy. In this phase I conduct primary and secondary research to understand not just the customer goals but also the internal business processes and vision. This service can also include social listening, surveys, and focus groups for a richer understanding.
Using the findings from the Research phase one I develop a design strategy which includes user personas to consider as well as guiding principles to follow in all design processes. In tandem with business stakeholders, I design a roadmap on how to practically implement the strategy and define KPIs to track progress.
Working off the roadmap this stage is the actual production of assets which may include websites, ads, brand activations etc. I work closely to ensure all details align with design strategy and user goals.
